Successfully conducted a detailed systems and performance analysis of the Cessna Grand Caravan, strengthening our understanding of larger and more complex aircraft.

Introduction to Arduino

We are currently hosting a 2-week crash course with 3 online sessions each week and 1 hands-on practical day. This initiative introduces members to electronics, programming, and hardware prototyping.

Our mentorship program connects participants with experienced professionals from our department, former students who have excelled in their careers, and senior students who provide peer guidance. We hold monthly mentorship sessions to foster growth and development, and we welcome anyone with expertise and a passion for aerospace to join us as a mentor.

Mr. Edward Chege Kibe is an IET Certified Engineering Technician in the field of Aeronautical Engineering – Airframes and Powerplant Option, currently working as a technician in The Technical University of Kenya.My passion revolves around promoting an ability to transform theoretical engineering understanding to practical application in solving day-to-day problems and enhancing a quality life. My strength is the ability to analyze a situation and come up with a balanced solution.

Eng.Emmanuel Githinji

Student Mentor

Emmanuel Githinji is a final-year Aeronautical Engineering student at the Technical University of Kenya. He currently serves as the National Campus Lead for the Young Aviators Club of Africa (YACAfrica), an organization focused on building human capacity in aviation and aerospace. He is also the Chief Operations Officer at CubeKraft, an organization dedicated to advancing space education and innovation. Emmanuel is an African Space Policy and Strategy Scholar with the African Space Leadership Institute (ASLI). He is also a certified Space Professional by the Teaching Science and Technology Institute (TSTI). He also holds certifications on CubeSat technology from the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
