Our Story

The Aero Nova Research & Innovation Hub was an idea formulated by six aeronautical engineering students — Victor Gichuru, Ian Mburu, Justin Waweru, Vanaya Kool, Andrew Karia, and Nicholas Odhiambo — from the Technical University of Kenya. Later we were joined by three more aviation enthusiasts Marine Kadzo, Alhandra Ambuka and Sarah Mutuku from the same institution. Driven by a desire to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world application, we set out to tackle real challenges facing the aviation industry.

Our group shares a common mindset and passion for aviation — the very pillars on which this initiative was founded. We are all united by our commitment to innovation and a determination to transform ideas into impactful solutions.

Our story is short but full of purpose, driven by a desire for growth and a determination to disrupt the norm. As we continue our journey, we strive to be more than just aeronautical engineers — we aim to be the pioneers shaping the future of the aerospace industry in Kenya.
